About Folk Fest Ceilidh
Are you an experienced ceilidh dancer or a complete novice, come and enjoy a fun and lively evening for all ages with some of the UK's leading folk musicians. Dances are easy to learn and addictive! It doesn’t matter if you don’t know your strip the willow from your do-si-do, you’ll be in safe hands with a friendly caller who talks you through every dance.
As part of our FolkFest course, join us for this open-to-all ceilidh, led by renowned members of the folk field: Laurel Swift, Hazel Askew and David Delarre.
Come with friends, come on your own, come as a family. You do not need a partner, experience or fancy footwork. Just bring your curiosity and a pair of comfortable shoes.

Bar and venue
Our bar will be open throughout the evening. The Peter Morrison Hall is ready for dancing feet, with space to take a breather between sets.
