Joe English Jazz Combo

Presented as part of our Afternoon Concert series.

Joe English is a Jazz Pianist from Hitchin studying at the Guildhall School of Music, and is joined by James Leaver-Whitfield (Double Bass), also a student at GSMD. Between them, they have played with the likes of Andy Davies, Linda May Han Oh, Bill Laurence, Jamie Murray, and at venues such as Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and Cheltenham Jazz Festival.

They will be presenting a programme featuring the compositions of the great American hard-bop pianist Cedar Walton, alongside selected repertoire from the Great American Songbook.
