In our celebratory year let a cappella choral music take you round the globe! Music from a Belgian chansonnier (with a nod to J S Bach) rubs shoulders with a Zulu tribal song; we also visit Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Mexico and Japan for music spanning at least 400 years. We are delighted to welcome back the distinguished singer, arranger, conductor, and choir trainer, Jeremy Jackman to direct this course, the objective of which is to produce in three days a choir that really sings well as a unit. In realising that challenge we will also be working on a satisfyingly wide range of choral repertoire. Please note that you must already have reasonable experience of choral singing to get the most from this course, which is not for beginners.
