It displays collections from the former Letchworth and Hitchin museums, and many items from around the District that have never before been on public view, including the last red squirrel in Hitchin! The temporary exhibition gallery shows high-quality touring exhibitions. The museum also has an excellent café and gift shop; please note, the café closes one hour before the museum.
Open: Tuesday – Saturday 10.30am – 4.30pm, Sunday 11am – 3pm. Admission is free.
