What is the course about?

This course is ideal for all sopranos and altos who want to explore interesting, challenging and unique upper voice repertoire in an uplifting, positive and supportive atmosphere.

Sought-after for her dynamic and engaging teaching style, and her wealth of choral and teaching experience, Amy is a passionate advocate for choral singing and choral conductor training. With degrees in Piano Performance (UK) and a Doctorate in Choral Conducting (USA), Amy is the Director of Training for the Association of British Choral Directors and co-founder of the London International Choral Conducting Competition (LICCC).

You should have some confidence in sight reading, good ensemble skills and a good musical ear.

How will the course be taught, and will any preparation be required?

Some aural teaching by rote but mainly sight-reading from provided scores.

Will music be provided in advance of the course?

Yes, you will be sent a selection of PDFs before the course which you are recommended to print out.
