We’re delighted to welcome six new trustees to the Benslow Music Board, following their election by Members at our recent Annual General Meeting.
Joining the Board are:
Thomas Alldred, a private equity partner
Paul Lehmann, a communications, media and government relations specialist
Helen McKeown, an arts fundraising professional
Claire Monks, a communications leader specialising in charities and public bodies
Jake Murphy, a technology and digital transformation professional
Richard O’Hagan, a solicitor specialising in commercial, property and private clients
The new trustees were nominated by the Board following an open and rigorous recruitment process designed to ensure a broad range of skills and experience within our governing body. Together, they bring expertise that will help guide Benslow Music as we continue to grow, strengthen our work and inspire more people through music learning.
Heidi Malaure, Chair of Benslow Music, said:
‘We’re thrilled to welcome our new trustees to Benslow Music as we continue this exciting chapter in our organisation’s history. Each brings valuable experience and fresh perspectives that will strengthen our decision-making and support our ambition to build a resilient charity as we look towards our centenary in 2029 and beyond.’
We look forward to working with our new trustees. We’re grateful to them and our continuing trustees for their support of Benslow Music’s governance, helping us create opportunities for peoples of all ages and backgrounds to learn and make music.
