Aaron Burrows
PianoPianist Aaron Burrows, graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he was an Artist Fellow 2015-2016, has performed in venues such as Wigmore Hall, the Barbican Hall, and LSO St Luke’s. Aaron teaches musicianship and theory at the Centre for Young Musicians (Waterloo) and piano at Latymer School (Edmonton) where he is also staff accompanist. He worked previously as a staff accompanist at Wells Cathedral School, a specialist music school.
As a composer, Aaron has collaborated with renowned pedagogue Penelope Roskell, writing the original music for all five volumes of the acclaimed series “Essential Piano Technique”, published by Edition Peters. The first three volumes won Educational Publication of the Year at the Presto Music Awards 2023 and were finalists in the Art of Piano Education Awards. The final two volumes were finalists in the Music and Drama Education Awards 2026.
