Anton Browne
Voice
Anton is a passionate musician with diverse experience across multiple instruments. He began his musical journey at an early age, starting with piano and violin. His love for music expanded as a teenager when he picked up the electric guitar, followed by the bass guitar. Ultimately, singing became his primary "instrument" and he now specialises in vocal performance.
Anton is a graduate of The Guildhall School of Music & Drama's postgraduate Jazz course. Upon completing his studies, he launched a successful career in both performance and education, focusing on the jazz, soul, and blues genres.
Currently, Anton teaches at the University of Cambridge (APPS), The BRIT School (since its founding in 1991), East London Arts & Music (ELAM) and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Trinity College of Music, where he taught Jazz Voice.
In addition to his teaching career, Anton is an established content creator with an active YouTube channel, which boasts over 2 million views. He is a vocal microphone influencer and also shares valuable insights on singing techniques. There are videos of original songs and cover versions of his favourite tracks. His channel also features live performance videos, with content organised for easy navigation under the 'Playlists' tab.
