Meihan Wang

Meihan Wang, a talented young pianist born in Shanghai, made her debut piano recital at the age of 16, with a fantastic reception among the audience who commended her on her passion and maturity of interpretation. Later, during her time studying with the pianist and piano pedagogist Mr. Feng Ye, she received guidance from several international concert pianists such as Tony Yike Yang and Andrei Ivanovich.

In September 2023, she won the First Prize of the Steinway Youth Piano Competition of China. In the following year, she entered the Royal College of Music in London; there she developed a wide interest in ensemble performance and musicology research. She established a duo partnership with the cellist Felicity-Olesia Adams. The two have collaborated on pieces varying from Brahms to Arvo Pärt.

She is currently continuing her study at the Royal College of Music, under the guidance of Professor Ilya Kondratiev.
