Nikki Yeoh

Nikki Yeoh is a pianist and composer specialising in Jazz. Nikki is London-based and describes herself as a 'creative spirit' and 'improviser' who isn't scared to take risks.
Nikki burst onto the British Jazz scene in the mid-90s, winning 'Best Jazz Musician of the Year' in 1996 and was a semi-finalist at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Since then, her career has blossomed and she has achieved accolades such as the Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year Award in 2017.
Career highlights have included performing with Billy Cobham, Chick Corea, and Neneh Cherry. In October 2024, Nikki received an APPJ Parliamentary Jazz Education Award for her outstanding contribution to Jazz education over the past thirty years.
Nikki enjoys teaching and mentoring other musicians and has mentored finalists of BBC Young Jazz Musician in 2020, 2022 and 2024. She's a big fan of Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London and enjoys playing there, when not teaching.
