Rachel Kilby
OboeRachel studied for a B.MUS.Hons. at the University of Sheffield, PGCE at Bath Spa University and later attained an MA in Music Education from UCL.
Between 1995-96 Rachel took post-graduate performance studies with Irene Pragnell at GSMD. As a music education specialist, Rachel has taught extensively in schools, worked as head of a county music service and for ten years was Course Lead for Teaching Skills in the Jazz Department at RWCMD.
She spent 7 years examining for TCL. Today Rachel works for LCME and is Music Animateur for Llandaff Cathedral as well as teaching oboe and piano, MD for an a cappella choir and playing with orchestras in South Wales.
