Joy Ellis is a jazz pianist, singer and composer based in London. Joy has toured all over the UK performing at various venues and festivals including Manchester, Cheltenham and London Jazz Festivals, the Roundhouse, the BBC Radio Theatre and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, supported by Arts Council, England. As well as appearing on numerous recordings, Joy has also released three jazz albums of her original music to critical acclaim. Joy teaches at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is currently conducting PhD research at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
