Willie Hicks started playing piano at the age of three, cello at the age of five and trumpet at the age of nine. She studied trumpet and cello at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in GGSM. Currently her musical activities include teaching brass at Abbot's Hill School, freelancing in the West End, and tutoring here at Benslow Music, often together with her mother, Janet Hicks.
